Getting insert cursor to current transport position

Postby vicpierce » Thu Aug 24, 2006 12:50 pm

Is there a way to make the insert cursor track the transport position?
I would like to playback part of a section, then hit the spacebar to stop playback and step enter a chord using my midi keyboard into the record enabled track at the current (stopped) position.
OS X 10.2.8; Metro 6.3.6
Thanks.
