Crashes relating to Cloned Subsections

Postby goofaman » Sun Jul 09, 2006 5:00 am

Working on a G5 Dual 2.7 with 2GB of RAM, and OS 10.4.7:

Two things I'm doing lead to repeatable crashes---

- If I move/edit the right selection triangle of a Cloned subsection in the Graphic editor window

- If I select a Cloned subsection from the popup menu (for editing) in the Tracks window

Please let me know if you'd like to have the report from the "unexpectedly quit" dialog.

Both of these functions work fine on my Intel iMac running 10.4.6. Perhaps I should upgrade to 10.4.7. but before I do, can you email me the Metro document that produces a repeatable crash?

Will-do, but again this bug is on the G5 studio computer.

For anyone reading, this seems to be related to bad data in my file. Hard to say what events led up to the situation. The feature works fine on a fresh, new file.

I've sent Jeremy the pertinent info.
