The Metro 6.06 pre-releases: regular, SE and G4 are available now.
Important Changes:
Mix Tracks no longer returns a -39 error and works much better now.
Fixed a bug where in some cases, VST mach-o plug-ins were not being persistent in documents.
Specific MIDI events sent to synthesizer plug-ins can now be filtered by control-clicking the plug-in in the effects window. (Individual controller filtering will be added later).
Optimizations for plug-ins should provide better performance.
Optimizations for some core audio devices should provide better performance.
Some G4 optimizations should provide better performance.
Audio overview cosmetic bug fixed.
New EFX button in Instruments window allows instant access to effects window when an effect is installed on an aux buss.
Some Metro color schemes updated.
Some Metro color schemes deprecated.
Dragging section bug fixed.
Pre-allocation of audio during record has been set to never pre-allocate more than 200 measures.
Better error message when trying to use software-audio-thru and track does not have the same sample size or format as the audio input.
Plug-in directory scanning continues even if an error occurs.
Jukebox window now hides the floating transport window automatically when it becomes frontmost and reveals transport window when it is deactivated.
Metro now scans recursively for OS X VST (mach-o) plug-ins. This means you can organize your plug-ins in folders and Metro will still find them. This is the way it has been working for non OS X and carbonized VST plug-ins.
