Good evening folks. It's great to have a forum for Metro users!
My problem: I have a stubborn streak that keeps me using an MOTU Micro Express serial MIDI interface. (I originally bought it to use with a Power Computing 120, aka "The Space Heater".) For the past year I've been running Metro 5 under 9.2 with a Keyspan SXPro serial card in my G4, with the MOTU box plugged into that. This has worked great, but it's time to move up to X. Last night I installed 10.2, and I finally qualified my Metro 6 upgrade (purchased several months ago) today.
Now the problem: I'm trying to figure out how to tell Audio MIDI setup to look at the Keyspan serial ports. There doesn't seem to be any way to do it; there's no buttons or icons for adding an interface. I take it that it is supposed to scan the available ports and busses and find the interface automatically. Assuming that the Keyspan driver has properly registered its ports, is there a way to do this? Is anyone running a setup with a SXPro card under Jaguar?
