Hey Jerm,
I've got a cool feature request for you.
In the Graphic Editor (with the "Audio Edit Regions" button active and "Note Edit Quantizing" turned "ON") it would be very helpful if the audio regions would "snap" to the selected quantize value (i.e. quarter note, half note, etc.) AS YOU ARE DRAGGING IT.
Currently, while dragging the audio region, a "translucent" image of the waveform region seems to follow the mouse "smoothly" (which is great for moving regions to other tracks), but while the "Note Edit Quantizing" mode is turned on, it would be nice if the "dragged translucent region" would show the drop locations by snapping into the possible positions until the mouse is released.
Basically, this would show you exactly where the audio region will "land" before you release the mouse. This will give the appeal of "more controlled" editing while maneuvering audio in this fashion (something I do often).
Let me know what you think. I hope this isn't hard to do. I got the idea from other audio editors, like Garageband.
Metro is the best - bar none.
Thanks!
