Audio Region Editing

Postby rlwilliams » Tue Dec 07, 2004 8:50 am

What is the best way to separate a large audio file. I have a long audio file on a track and want to separate it into sections.

After creating the regions, I understand you can use the audio region editing function, but I don't know how to create precise cuts.

I know one method is to zoom in very closely, click the cursor in the area, select a small snippet, then delete to create the audio regions? Is this the way most people do it? How do you place the cursor in the audio and split the track to create regions without have to zoom/select small portion/delete?
