Instruments Window

It would help if the names of the instruments would be available in the instruments window so you don't have to keep checking the tracks window. Or at least a place to type a name in.

I am not sure what you are asking. The instruments window contains the names of all instruments. If you double-click the instrument name below the fader it will bring up the instrument definition dialog in which you may edit the name of the instrument, among other things.

The other cool thing you can do is drag the fader by the name at the bottom to anywhere else.......in case you've added another track or mic and want it with another group of faders......like maybe all the drum tracks together.

The other nice thing about the instruments window is not having to be in it to make volume and pan changes. 8)

What?

Yes, I see it now. You can tag it like sound module-3 to SM-3 Violin, ect so you know what voice it is.

You could even tag it - crappy drum solo to annoy your drummer. :D

(or any other band member who can't play and is there to make up the numbers!)

And the coolest thing is that you can make a program change without changing the program
