Can't find zoom shortcuts & Multiple audio files import

Postby flanchec » Wed Sep 22, 2004 1:53 am

Hello !

I'm still diving into Metro SE.

A question that I didn't find in the Manual : is there a keyboard shortcut for zooming in and out. I did this all the time in other sequencers. If not, I guess I should post something in "Feature request, right ? "

Another one : I can't find a way to import several audio files at once. It's a bit annoying to do it one by one... Am I missing something.

Well... the more I use it, the more I like it 8)

Heard of drag and drop?
Have the metro app icon in your dock and just drag the audio files onto it.

Oh well, it does work in the edit window (don't remember exactly the name : I don't have my music computer at hand) but not in the main window.

I tried drag&drop from the finder to the main window, but it didn't work. I'll try to drag directly to the icon itself.

Thank you for your patience

The problem with the tracks window is because you have horizontal and vertical zoom. How is metro supposed to know which one you want? Thats why it has seperate onscreen controls.

In the graphic editor you manually define the vertical spacing as to how much real estate each track should use. Therefore only horizontal is needed.

Oh, I see... as a matter of fact, I rarely use vertical zooming. I set it once and for all at the beginning of my work... I'm not sure how people work, but I think that a shortcut for horizontal zooming only in the tracks window could be welcomed.

Just a thought...
