Newer version than SE 6.2.1.2 ???

I've just requalified to the upgrade above, to be advised in the acknowledgement+qualifying name email, that there is a newer version available.
Hotfoot to the downloads page I went to see that v6.212 (Without the periods) is there.

Q. Is that a newer version or a typo?

On checking the version on "About metro" I see that it is still referred to as v 6.2.1, whereas the application info shows v 6.2.1.2.
No big deal, but to then be presented with an image, replacing the "Metro" Logo of someone who appears to have just woken up with a hangover, I had to say something.

It's apparently been there for many years.......I mean in metro not the hangover. (the pic appears after leaving the about box open for 30 seconds).

Metro will probably always say 6.2.1 till it goes beyond .1 if you know what I mean.


6.212 is the latest I can see.

The last digit of the version number is chopped off except in the get-info box or the finder version field (do view options to expose this field).

6.2.1.3 will be out within the next week or so.

Can you forward to me the email that says there is a newer version available?
