monitoring sound drop out

Postby sigmasix » Thu Jul 08, 2004 7:57 pm

i'm having a problem that i never noticed on any other build of metro since i upgraded to 6.2.1.
i'm getting a very noticable and annoying but very quick drop out of any input sound i'm monitoring. for instance i've been plugging my guitar straight into my sound input on my computer, selecting software audio through in the windows section of metro and then about every 5 seconds or so i get this silence in the sound. the signal is not overloading and i can not remember ever having this problem with any other build.. i'm thinking about downgrading unless i can find some answer to this.

This is not a bug but a feature. You can however disable automatic feedback protection in general preferences.
