Are there any good programs or add-ons for metro that can accurately measure beats per minute? and potentially adjust pitch.

Metro can measure BPM. Try this:

Select New from the file menu.

Import an Audio file. If running 6.2. most likely the tempo will be set properly and your done. If before 6.2...

Select the bar grabbing tool (the clock inside the arrows) in the graphic editor. Drag the barline of measure 2 to the downbeat of what should be measure 2. This presumes that the downbeat of the audio starts at the beginning of measure 1.

My my we have come a long way in 48 hours Jin. (after a 3 hour ichat on the basics of metro hehehe).
