Mixer help please

Postby chipster » Tue Mar 16, 2004 10:04 am

In Metro SE 6.1 I have two tracks recorded. Both input and outputs are built-in audio 1. I have master control on the mixer but cannot get the individual tracks mixed at all. The faders have no control over the tracks. On the mixer I seem to have only port choices of A, B, internal, and Off. None of these seem to have any effect on the fader use. Sorry for all the dumb questions. thanks

I finally figured it out. Sorry I'm so impatient sometimes Jeremy.

Was it - allocate some outputs to them?

Port A and B
I assume you have a 2x in/out midi device or something similar.
Are you working in Jaguar or above?

If your audio/midi setup (the little app in the utilities folder) is configured with the midi device appearing, and you connect up and name an external synth icon to the midi device (and perhaps name the synth Roland), port options would become Roland, B, Internal and Off.
