Da blue racing car

Postby simon201 » Tue Feb 03, 2004 6:45 pm

Ok Jerm it might not be a bug, or it maybe, what do you call them - Easter eggs?, but when I click on the blue racing car in 'digital audio/advanced, I temporarily lose all my items on the desktop and also the menu bar in the finder.
All comes back after I quit Metro though. Bit like as if I did force quit on the finder.

Yeah,

It gives your machine a little extra horsepower, sort of like a nitrous kick.

Thanks Jerm.
Maybe I should spend more time writing and recording music than clicking and messing around tryin to find secret items!!
Actually, thinking about it, not ,many programs these days have any silly secret stuff to discover.
Do people remember the pic of the building that would appear when you did some shift/option clicking etc in the 'about this mac' box in OS 9.
Or the little red monster thingy that ran across the screen in QuarkXpress (was it?) 3.1

Anyway, must get on. I'm just taking a break from spending a while configuring a Firewire 410 unit.

PS - Jerm - I notice the member no doesn't appear in the posts anymore - didn't it used to?
I used to like being seen to be 'no 3' behind the staff!!
