Well we are still waiting for propellerheads to offer Mach-O support before implementing Rewire support. As for OMF, do you have a link to the file format?

... i don't have a link to it but i know it stands for "open media framework". it's a standard that's used by protools, logic, cubase, final cut pro, etc. for transferring media files and playlists between one editing system to another.

here's kind of an old page that gives some info about omf:
www.stagetools.com/bill/Omf.htm

... and a link to digidesign's DigiTranslator app:
www.digidesign.com/products/details.cfm ... ct_id=1040

with the ability to import / export omf files, metro could be even more of a viable choice for those working with protools / final cut pro / avid.

Well, even though I am sick, I spent a bunch of time yesterday searching for the supposedly free toolkit but I could not find it, so I am just going to have to wait until someone directs me to it with a link of some sort.

"Open" in the title.....must be open to Avid & Digi employees and their largest customers! I spent half an hour. Not even an offer of a specification on the Avid site. The MIDI Manufacturers Organization is a model of openness compared to this!

Apple "Bento" (sp?) is used by OMF, and spec is available.

AES-31 appears similar, and is becoming a standard, but is not the same thing (about $50 for spec).

Pretty good OMF overview info...no details:

The "Open" Media Format website...not accessible to the public. Huh?
