Recording master fader?

Postby Biffer » Wed Oct 22, 2003 7:15 pm

OK, probably another dumb question from the biffer but...if I have say, eight different instruments and I want to fade the whole song out at the end can I record the master fader? If so I haven't been able to figure out how. The only way I have been fading the song is to record each instrument's fader...which is a bit of a drag.javascript:emoticon('')

Thanks

I am not sure if the master fader is automatable in terms of recording it. What you can definitely do (assuming you have the full version of Metro) is select Master fader from the track list and draw in the automation in the graphic editor. Make sure to draw something at the beginning of the song too so that when you play back later from the beginning, the master fader is reset and you do not get a mysterious silence.

Thanks Jerm. I do have the full Metro version and I will give that a try.
