WOW! How annoying.

Apart from using the .sitx format their fix is pretty sad if you're unfamilar with what they are talking about.

Does .sitx work in 9?
I assume the x is for OSX only?

juanchamo - you should be up and running soon. :)
welcome to metro.

Yes. I tried the .sitx extension and it does work in OS 9. This is what we will be using in the near term future (and, as of today, are using it for the demos). The only thing that will change is that users are required to have stuffit expander 7 or later.

Man, you got it!
I was able to open the Metro Demo at last!
Now I can take a look at its main features.
I used to use Logic Fun (the free version of Logic) but it isn't OSX ready.
Let's see how well I take Metro
Thanks again for your help

Well... golly gee... that potentially leaves me out in that I use Stuffit 6.5.1 as a "helper" app. Turns out that 7 wasn't working "properly" in some areas on my system so I backgraded. I wonder how many folk may be in a similar situation?

Guess I could always install and then re-trash 7 when needed... LOL! :)

Great! I was beginning to think metro 6.1 was going to get pulled because of the juanchamo bug!

It's good to know that out of your problem/loading error we all learnt something about stuffit.

We could initially post both a .sit and .sitx version if requested.

What about self extracting?
Or does OSX not like them?
