would it be possible to create subsections in the " section " windows
or create something like with Iphoto or itunes : one library with all the midifile/song and after some organisations as we need for live sessions ?

Would a new feature like this have the name subsection?

Subsection is already a term in Metro.
Is this the same type of thing or would one of these require a different name to avoid confusion?

It would not be 'subsection'. English is not françois first language so I cut him some slack. :)

HA! You probably think the same of me sometimes! :lol:


François was asking me how you open a whole lot of midi files at once in Metro from different folders.
The only thing I could come up with was have all the folders opened in list view, select all the files without selecting any of the folders and dropping them onto the metro icon. They do come in alphabetical though and that may not be ideal for him.

I did ask him to ask this (but hey françois you've gone even more fancy again :lol:), is there a way that files could be dropped straight onto the sections window? If the sections window recognised folders he would get his itunes look and feel too.
