Metro 6 and Phatmatik Pro 1.1?

Postby rlwilliams » Sat Sep 06, 2003 2:06 pm

Greetings!

I just bought a copy of Phatmatik Pro 1.1 from Bitshift Audio.
Are you familiar with this VSTi? I'm wondering if there is a
compatiblity issue with Metro and PMP, because I can't seem to get it
to work with Metro 6. I don't know yet if it's a Metro issue or PMP, but I think it is a Metro issue.
I've set up everything correctly, but whenever I click the folder (in PMP) to browse my hard drive to find a wav or aif file, nothing happens. So therefore the program is useless to me.
I have a copy of Computer Music magazine's Computer Muzys 1.5, so I loaded it up to test PMP there, and it worked, so that's why I think it has something to do with Metro.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

rlwilliams

Yes. There seems to be some incompatibilities  between Metro and Phatmatik Pro. I hope to have these worked out very soon. I will keep you posted.

Okay, I have fixed the two problems that I noticed when using PhatmatikPro 1.1. Namely the file browser doesn't show up and the preferences window comes up with a lot of garbage.

Both of these problems are fixed in 6.0.8.3.

When do you think the new release will be?

Jeremy,

Thanks for checking in to that for me. I also saw the garbage stuff you're talking about. When do you think it will be released?

I'll look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
