Well, I didn't get around to it until last night. But, changing the ST prefs text file worked! I've got 32 note polyphony now. Thanks guys!! :D

Now I just wish they would post a few more free sounds.

It seems that IK Multimedia has a cool new support section. I am only saddened that:
1. They have not included this workaround :( and
2. That they have not come up with a fix/patch for the authorization dialog and
3. They have not mentioned Metro as even compatible on their site.

Perhaps someone from IK will read this and (try to) remedy the situation.

Sampletank works GREAT with Metro 6!

What saddens/annoys me

- they don't have demos of ampitude etc.

- their website is not very up to date or at least behind on releases (maybe its getting better)

- they have different website URL's for different products which makes no sense......why can't they all be under ikmultimedia?

- finding the information you want is trial and error or luck.

- I see the new support section answers what sampletank 2 is. It was mentioned at a show (NAMM?)......are we still waiting for it or is it actually version 1.1?

Yes we are still waiting for it. Supposedly it will be released this summer.

Greetings Metro Folks:

I just got Sampletank L and had a horrible time installing it in my OS X. Was kind enough to receive a personal call from Jason of Sampletank some place down south, who helped me step by step. Your recommendation to fill in the Sampletank text script is right on!. However, my problem was that I authorized the wrong version of SampleTank. Look for the 1.1_x which is for OS X, not for SampleTank XL as I thought.

Also, in your plug-ins window it will indicate Sampletank XL, not L. Jason said to pay that no mind.

It's a great product. Made in Italy!, not U.K as I thought.

thanks...hh
