Why when you make an audio track selection and you click on the capture current selection in the set selection menu option, the duration is not updated?

It finds the start and end instantly but the duration is like the previous setting.
If you go up or down on the arrows it is constantly updating the duration but as soon as you hit that capture button again, the start and end go back to the correct length and the duration calculation doesn't take place.

I am assuming you mean the bar-beat duration field and not the sample duration field.

To make the bar-beat duration field update after capture current selection simply press the tab key.
