An option to use command+H to hide Metro...?

An option to use command+H to hide Metro...?

I instinctively use this command in every Metro session at least once. It would make using Metro a lot easier for me.

I know that it currently brings up the harmony box, but could you put an option to use the system command, like Photoshop does? If that's hard to do, I'd prefer to use another command for harmony.

There are a couple of much lesser things that I'd put on a wish-list, but I love Metro and think it's the best music app I've ever used. Please let me know if that's too rude...after getting such a good product and support from such a small company.

Since I'm hyping it to my friends like the local "Metro-pimp", I'd like to contribute towards the perfection of the awesome app.

Thanks!

If you were to hide it, how would you get it back?

I do like the way - if you click out of photoshop, everything disappears except the doc you have open. There is no need for a key press.

Are you suggesting something like that?

If you had the transport window floating above, maybe it could float above other apps and once clicked everything came back.

Implemented

This is now implemented in 6.0.7.3. Harmony is now ctrl-cmd-H

As for bringing the app back, simply click on it from the Dock.

fun with OS X commands!

Thanks Jerm. That made my day...that just happens to be my birthday.

Scooterman, since you use photoshop, I think you're like me and running tons of apps all the time. Hiding and zooming through the dock via commands is a way of life for me.

Do you use command+tab to navigate your open apps, I love that one.
also it jumps to the previous one first, so you can toggle really fast!
(add shift to go backwards)

You can hide all apps except the one you want by holding down option+command+clicking on the app you want.

By the way, if you are sophisticated enough you can make this change yourself to 6.0.7.2 since it involves NO code changes. With a resource editor, edit the Metro.rsrc file found in the Resources folder of the Metro package.

I take no responsibility for any damage any one does by modifying Metro so do this at your own risk!

Change Menu resource ID 430 and change the key equivalent for Harmony to anything other than command-H. OS X automatically assigns cmd-H to the hide command if no other menu items are using it.
