Check out the demo for Cakewalk's new Dimension Pro synth. It sounds pretty good. It's their first Mac product since ..........

I did get a NFR copy of dimension pro. It has a lot of sounds, is very flexible and works well in Metro.

The biggest problems I have with it are that it is only 4 part multi-timbral and it is a bit awkward to set it up as such since loading a program replaces all 4 parts, you must turn on each element before the other parts work and browsing sounds is virtually impossible without sitting at the computer keyboard/mouse because program changes do nothing and there is no way to load sounds (that I know of) with a MIDI keyboard.

With such limits and problems, the price is a sad point then.
Maybe the word 'pro' needs to disappear too.
