I assume V2 is a newer version. As Metro shows them both and I guess they do the same thing, can you remove one?

Yes. V2 are the new effects. I think they were created in OS 10.2. 10.1.5 only supports v1 audiounits.

I suppose in the next version I will eliminate them from the plug-ins window when running 10.2 or greater.
