I have tried the free UVI engine plug and it works okay but you have to remove the VST plug-in if you want the AU one to work. Not sure why but I think it may have to do with the copy protection. The same was true for MOTU's MachFive which also used the UVI sound engine.

I am sure that Plugsound pro is an amazing product. I have the older product, Ultra focus, which is absolutely incredible. The only two things that would make me hesitate on purchasing this product is the company UltrasSoundBank uses an intrusive PACE copy protection and their update policy does not seem quite fair since you cannot update Ultra Focus directly. Instead you have to purchase PlugSound Pro.
