Have I got this right?
track 1 voice
track 2 guitar
MIXER
aux 1 reverb aux 1 effect send fader up
MIXER MAIN WINDOW
track 1 and track 2 faders up
IN AUX 1 mixer view
I understand if I have track 1 fader up I will be adding effect to only track one and if I have tracks 1 and 2 up i will be adding effect to both tracks BUT what effect am I adding? It would seem I am adding the combined 1 and 2 reverb effect.
(USING POST FADERS)
BUt what if I ONLY want to add reverb of 1 to 1. And not have reverb of 1 fed back to 2? then I understand I do not raise the 2 fader in aux window view. Yet again, what if I have tracks 1 and 2 up in main view, then don't i get stuck with teh comnied track 1 and 2 effect getting sent back to track 1
BETTER NOT TO USE AUX BUS IN THAT CASE?
Is it true that if I only want a given effect to be fed back only to that same track, i should use the effect directly and not the bus because the bus takes ALL channels with faders up in main view and adds them to the COMBINED EFFECT that the aux1 window faders return.
