Plug outputs

Postby françois » Fri Sep 16, 2005 12:11 pm

I'm working with stylus rmx, and an EDIROL FA 101.

Could someone tell me how to change the output from a plug-in ?
Now the sounds of stylus are out to output 1+2, and I want to put it on output 3+4 .

thanks

for help

I believe RMX has 16 outputs (8 stereo outs in Metro) and it is multitimbral. You should have 'plug-in is multitimbral' checked in the plug-ins window (by right-clicking to bring up the menu). Once RMX is installed on an aux buss, go to the effects window and notice that there are 8 popup menus. One for each stereo output. You can route rmx's outputs to different aux busses. Then if you double click the name of the aux buss (for example 'aux1') from the mixer window you can configure its audio output. So in your case if you want to send aux 2 to FA-3+4 you would double click on aux 2 and select 3+4 as the audio output.

That is probably clear as mud.
