calculate cuepoints

i was wondering if there is something
like a calculation tool for video cue points like the one in DP?

i ve been reading something about a helpful feature while working on movies
but i can t remember where it was in the online help menue.

2nd question i guess a bit off topic in the video forum

is there a way to have the snap grid in the arrangement window snapping to whole bars by default?

every time i start up metro i have to readjust the grid for the arrangement window.

I am not sure what this is exactly in DP but in Metro you can make a selection and then, from the tempo dialog, you can set it change the tempo so that the selection ends exactly at the cue (marker) point. Be sure to use locked markers for all your cue points.

Yes. Simply make the correct selection for snap and then go to preferences and save.

maybe i should add that DP feature there and discribe it in more detail.

its really a huge timesaver if your working with pictures.
