import file menue

Postby fastlanephil » Fri Feb 21, 2003 12:37 am

When I import a movie the movies that have been imported previously are there as recent files but I am unable to select them. I have to select a file from the file menue. This is in OSX.
I can export a movie with an audio file and it plays fine in Quicktime but playing the movie and the audiofile in Metro causes the movie sometimes to stop and sometimes I get a non-stop spinning ball and have to restart. My iBook 600 is probably choking on it. These are just 10 sec. avis from my Canon Elph.

This is a bug. It will be fixed in 6.0.5

I was not able to repeat this with a sample avi file.
If you can email me one that fails I will have a look. I promise not to sell them to hollywood :wink:

I think both of these problems may go away if you first save the avi in quicktime movie format first.

I was importing avi's and just clicking off the movie window and importing another avi as the tracks were building up below where I didn't notice them. If I deletet the tracks before the next import it works fine. Problem solved. :roll:
