OMS Changes

Postby GarySome1 » Tue Feb 11, 2003 7:15 pm

I have changed my OMS setup recently and every time I start a new Metro session or open a previous one I get a dialog asking me to translate my old instruments to new ones. Is there a convenient way to do this once and have it stick?

Thanks,
Gary

Yes. The best way to change your OMS setup is to copy and paste devices from your old studio setup document into your new studio setup document. This preserves the unique ID's used to establish the connection to the MIDI device. Hopefully you did not throw out your old studio setup document.

Otherwise your only alternative is to change ports on all your old documents as needed.
