For any beginners with OS X. The following link shows how to use the AMS program included with OS 10.2 or later.

Sonosphere is, I believe, Doug Wyatt's page. He is the author, for the most part, of both OMS and Apple's Core MIDI software also known as MIDI System Services (MSS).
