Midi - Random Velocity

In the velocity dialog box, how do you get "Change all selected notes to" & "Random velocity (RNote)" to work?

I can't turn off all the options above and the one chosen above overrides it.

Do RNotes actually play a different velocity but shows the original velocity that was created?
Where is RNote in the help files?


.........looking in human feel I have found a way to do what I was after -
Adjust all the velocities of selected notes.
So what does the option in the velocity dialog do?

RNotes are random velocity notes. They play notes at a random velocity between VelocityOn and VelocityOn+VelocityOff and note off velocities are fixed at 64. To change notes from regular to random velocity, use the list editor or the velocity dialog.
