Duplicate notes

Postby fastlanephil » Sun Jun 15, 2014 8:55 pm

Hello Jeremy,

I remember having this issue before but can't remember the solution or find it here with a search.

When I play in single notes or chords with my keyboard controller each note has another note underneath it when I drag the notes up or down in the Graphic Editor. I must be sending double data messages to Metro when recording.

Most likely your keyboard is doing it. Can you check with a MIDI monitor program to see what the controller is sending?

You can easily delete them all in one fell swoop with the 'delete duplicates' command.

Yes, I had two zones turned on the in the Kawai MP7 that were both sending external data.

Thanks Jeremy!
