Roland JV1080 instruments download?

Postby SongORoland » Mon Jul 03, 2006 3:24 am

I have a Roland JV1080 with several expansion cards. Is there any way to pull the instruments onto my Mac hard drive to use internally?

Sending signals and inputting from the synth is a pain -- not a big pain -- but I would like to avoid cables and all that.

Thanks.

If you want to record audio you will need to feed the audio output of the hardware synth into your computer. There is no other way unless Roland has a soft-synth that I am unaware of.

Roland JV1080 instruments download?

Yeah, I was getting at dumping my JV1080's voices onto my computer in a 'soft synth' type of thing, though I couldn't recall the term.

Can't be done, eh? Too bad. Where are my cables then? That was rhetorical.

Thanks though.
