Why would the midi tracks not cue from the beginning?

Postby NeMusashi » Fri Jun 20, 2003 10:09 pm

When I record, regardless of whether its a new midi or audio track, my previously created midi tracks will not cue from the beginning. For example, if I've created a four bar midi track, and then attempt to record another track, the midi track will start at the third bar. Note, this problem only comes up when I record, and never when I simply play back tracks. Consequently, whenever I record, I'm forced to mute all the midi tracks, otherwise I'd get lost rather quickly.

I am not sure I understand. Do you have program changes in your MIDI track? What device are you using for your MIDI tracks? If you email me a Metro or MIDI file I can take a look. Please do not include audio files.

You don't have any cues, countoffs, punchins, loops, markers or overdubs happening do you?

How pure are your preferences from the original ones?
If this has only happened recently a setting must have be changed.
