Error on "Mix Audio Tracks"

I have the latetest build of G4 and when I mix selected tracks(44.1,24bit,1024 packet size) I get two errors:
-39 Logical end of file reached durring read operation
-108 insufficient memory

then the mix shows up as stereo with all kinds of problems
I have successfully mixed audio tracks with earlier builds.

Scott,

Can you play back the file without those errors? Have you tried other settings (such as 16 bit or 32 bit Float)? How big is the file when saved as a (compacted) bundle file?

If it is not too big you might want to email it to us.

A compacted bundle file is one where all of the audio that is not used is removed from the file. You can write a compacted bundle file by selecting save as bundle file from the file menu and then selecting compacted bundle from the popup in the ensuing save as dialog.

Jeremy,
At 16 bit I get the same result (audio wise) without errors (intermittently)
the bundle will be about 250mb.........I will put it on my webserver and send you a link to it for analysis

Jeremy,
I am using a sound font to produce the drum track and have not rendered it yet.......I am attempting to mix selected tracks in the project (I have done this before with this project file) I am currently uploading the bundle and will send you the link when it is finished

Scott,

Before you go through the trouble of uploading 250 megabytes. Try these:

1. Make sure no tracks are record-enabled when you mix (and turn off audio play-thru if on)
2. Reduce the amount of audio buffer size per track in preferences to 64k.
3. Try saving-as .temp file and then reducing the number of tracks until it works.

If step 1 or 2 fixes the problem, obviously skip step 3. The purpose of step 3 is to reduce the file size significantly in case it is necessary to upload the file.

Of course, let me know what your results are so I can address any issues.

Problem fixed!.....droped the packet size down to the smallest and it worked!!
