Pitch Shifting

OK, I finnally figured out how to do the pitch shift thing (audio). The thing is there seems to be a considerable amount of reverb (?) added. Is there a way around this, or should I just live with it?

It will add artifacts so it is best to use a dry sound before shifting and also try not to shift too much. If you do not mind the time changing also then resampling will produce a much cleaner sound.
