Can't use plug-ins, error 10874

Postby Slobticket » Sat May 29, 2004 5:40 pm

Jerm or anyone:

Help!
What's causing this problem? Any attempts to use plug-ins keep getting rejected with a pop up window that says "-10874 AudioUnitErr Too many frames to process" --

Any help appreciated

Unfortunately a lot of audiounit plugs want the audio packet size to be relatively small. If you are mixing, reduce the audio packet size in the mix dialog otherwise go to the digital audio setup, device options and set the audio packet size smaller.

You may be able to resolve this problem also by restarting Metro or your machine.

Thanks, Jerm!-- reducing the packet size in audio setup worked.
