Recording Radio Station Streams?

Postby rlwilliams » Sun Dec 05, 2004 12:46 am

Can you use Metro to record a radio station stream from the internet? If so, how would you do this?

Can you use something like JACK from www.jackosx.com? This looks to be free. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,

Ronnie

If Jack works the same as soundflower and recording a radio stream is the same as recording the audio off a DVD (or whatever), all you do is change your sound device from 'built in' to 'Jack'.

Usually you can't hear the recording.......is the only problem......so that's when levels came in.

I recorded some commentarys from DVD's that way.......just took a few goes to get the volume set to optimum and then it was away!

I found this freeware/donate-if-you-like program called Radio Recorder that seems to do what I wanted to do. Check it out.
