Hello, I have a question.

Postby Jim Obermeyer » Sat Dec 20, 2003 7:10 am

I have an iMac running on 10.2.8 and a digital piano with it's own 16 track recording studio. Can I take all the tracks from my piano's sequencer, and use an iMic to record them as an one audio file onto Metro SE? From there I want to burn a CD.

Definitely. You can simply connect the output of your piano to your mac. You may need a cable and/or adapters to do this part. Then press record in Metro and play on the piano's sequencer. Then, to burn a CD check [url=http://www.sagantech.biz/metro/help/MetroFAQ.shtml#Anchor-11481]

Before you record you do need to record-enable an audio track of course. :)

Thanks again, I just ordered the iMic and I'll let you know how it turns out in a couple of days.

This forum has been a great help to me, in fact if it wasn't for this forum I would have given up by now and went to a recording studio.

Happy Holidays to you and yours.
