Can Metro SE control another internal synth (non VST)

I have a friend that has ABsynth and we were wondering if you can set up SE to output a signal to that 'device' without using up the 1 slot available for synths in SE. The app also can be used as a VST instrument. I was wondering if Reason could function in a similar way.

I would think not.
You could always record your absynth bits off as audio.

braj,

What you really want is the full version of Metro. I suggest upgrading.

Barring that then scoot's suggestion makes the most sense. You can always create submixes and archive tracks after. To use more than one synth:

1. Get the first synth track right and convert to audio with mix audio tracks.
2. Remove the synth and add a different synth.
3. repeat.

If you run out of audio tracks. Mix them with mix audio tracks and archive the originals.

Yeah, I understand how to essentially 'bounce' the synth tracks now, you just never know what you want to tweak later.

Yeah, I should get the full version. I just can't swing it right now, my wife barely understands the $69 and the $100 more for an Oxygen8. I'm really constricted, so I'm trying to make the most of SE through workarounds.

I'm incredibly impatient though, so who knows. You won't have a 'Spring Sale' or anything, will you? 8)

I will try and twist Jerm's arm and get you $1 off but I can't promise anything.

I'm a software QA lead as my profession, I wonder if I could do work/trade on alpha/beta builds for an upgrade? Just a thought.

I just better start saving my pennies. All in all, Metro is a great value and well worth the full version's cost.
