If you're using Metro Full, I would throw LX away and just keep the archive available if you wanted it..........actually if you've gone to Full I suppose technically (and copyrightly
) LX is void anyway.
- Best to have all your hardware plugged in
- Make sure the mac can 'see' everything attached - Audio/Midi Setup of OSX
- Launch Metro and check the midi setup for record to and from [devices]
- Allocate all the outputs and busses you want for a particular setup
(even better if you're not going to use QT/internal have the new outputs REPLACE EXISTING ones from startup prefs......you can always add more from the option in the SPECIAL menu [control Y] to any of the available devices)
....and as suggested do the "save" on the prefs to retain everything.
You could always save a blank doc as a piece of stationary.
Taken from another topic............
You could even go a step further and once you have all the tracks, Virtual instruments and everything else setup the way you want, save and name the file with an extension of .msd for metro stationary document. Then whenever you open that document everything will be the way you want it and there is no danger of saving over it because when you save, SE will prompt you for a new name
