How do I split up audio files?

Postby murphy » Sun Oct 10, 2004 1:43 pm

I've converted a midi file into separate audio files for each midi track using another program that can do that job.

I've imported the midi file plus all the audio tracks into MetroLX and they play back in sync.

Now I want to take lets say any given audio track and split that audio track into several tracks. For example splitting it into the different parts of the song, for example, intro, chorus, melody, ending.

Obviously it's a very simple procedure that I am missing because I can't figure out how to do that.

You could turn on the switches

- audio region editing
- show audio regions

and move the end points to grab the audio section you want.
