Can Metro be set to use MMC or MTC to control a Roland VS-1680 audio recorder?

If so, how do I set that up in METRO?

I do not have that roland device so I do not know for sure.

The only way it work would be if you do not have any Audio tracks because the MTC code in Metro only works for MIDI tracks. When there are audio tracks Metro will automatically switch to audio sync and the MIDI tracks derive their timing information from the audio.

The MMC support in Metro is limited in that there must also be a MTC connection for it to work. So you must have a device generating MTC and Metro must be configured in the MIDI setup dialog to receive sync from the device.

Oh and also, I do not think the SE version will support MTC or MMC at all.
