Hidden input select? Does the stereo checkbox work in 6.08?

Thanks again for another great update, but does the "stereo" check box (in the audio setup window) still work?

If not, I don't mind now that I found the Audio Record Input Select column of the tracks window...which is actually a better Idea.

Is that column hidden by default? I just had a little confusion that others might as well.

I just wanted to record in stereo in this version...
I looked up the online help that did steer me in the right direction (with fresh new info), but I couldn't find the "Audio Record Input Select column of the tracks window" Until I clicked on the little black triangle above the track numbers. Maybe it's only my preferences that would hide it by default.

I also had a copy of 6.07, and the "stereo" check box was still working, so maybe it isn't just a glitch on my system.

Yes. The stereo check box is now superfluous and does nothing. This will be removed soon. The way to select stereo inputs is from the Input Record Select column.

It may pay to keep this column seen at all times then.......to stop repeat questions on how to record in stereo.
