Way to rename outputs/ports of Instruments?

Postby Lytz1 » Tue Dec 29, 2015 7:08 am

Hey J',

say, is there a way to rename the ports of VSTi Instruments?

I have a lot of duplicated VSTi Instruments (like Battery 3 for example)
and in the Output Dropdown Window on the Arrangement page I get a lot
of 3-1-1, 3-2-1, 3-3-1 suffixes and so on. Thats a bit confusing.

(Especially with Plugins that have numbers already behind them in the first place.
like Kontakt 5, MachFive 3, Albino 3 and so on...)

I'd like to rename theese. However I do not know if this is possible.

Any hints?

Thanks,

tL.

You can either option (alt on windows) click the output assignment column in the tracks or graphic editor windows or you can double click the name in the mixer window.
