Windows Metro SE demo question

Postby Jer78 » Wed Apr 02, 2014 5:23 pm

Can 32-bit VSTi's be used in the 64-bit version of the Windows Metro SE demo?

The Windows Metro SE demo is 64-bit and whenever I try to load a 32-bit VSTi, I get an error message saying "unable to locate proxy DLL" or something similar.

Is there a bit-bridge or something similar?

Thanks

I recommend jBridge to run 32 bit plug-ins in the 64 bit version. Metro has built in support for jBridge so that when you try to load a plug-in (and jBridge is installed) it will magically load.

However if you are using a lot of software synthesizers you will probably want to buy Metro LX or the full version.
