Sample/Tutorial Files ?

Hi -

Are there any tutorial/sample files that I could open as I need to do some more learning on how to sequence a whole entire song in Metro. I have been working in sections 8 to 12 bars long, and don't quite have the workflow to finish a complete song in Metro atm. Basically, Looking for some study material.

I don't think there is a tutorial on working with subsections but there is some documentation on it here.

Basically you create a new (parent) section in the sections window. Then drag the other sections from the sections window to the graphic editor to create subsections. You can then rearrange the subsections by dragging or editing them with the subsection edit dialog, until they are in the desired place.

Thanks Jeremy, just to be clearer my request was for any general song files that show features of Metro.

In the meantime, I just loaded some midi song files , "Cinema Show"and "Supper's Ready" by Genesis

The files linked automagically to the Microsoft GS Synth with the correct instrument choices and play very nicely within Metro. Other DAW hosts, btw, do not do so well with MIDI songs, as one manually has to link to your instrument choices. Anyway, no bus and section complications in these songs, but at least I can spend more time in Metro as I am just trying to get used to this software.

Btw, seems Genesis were rather mad with their tempo changes, the BPM in Cinema Show right from the start is sliding all over in the Metro transport panel
