I require a program name profile/file for my Yamaha PSR3000 .

And is that the file i use for the setup program names when I go to the "Setup" drop down to program names... in the Metro menu bar ?

Yes. You need to find a compatible .ins file, open from the program names dialog after selecting the correct MIDI port and then once everything is correct, save preferences.

Any leads to where i find those .ins files to work in Metro.

Would a Yamaha PSR-3000.xml work in Metro LX ?

I would try here.

I would bet that one of these yamaha psr's is similar enough to your unit. INS files are just text files so feel free to edit them if necessary.

The xml file could work as Metro does import certain program names file. Certainly worth a try.

I can use the Yamaha PSR 8000 or 9000.

It's good to know that they are text files so if need be i can make changes with BBEdit.

I'll also try the xml file.
