I am in automation hell ;) some how I have enabled it and now I would just like to erase all the recorded automation in the instruments window.

help!!

Scott,

All automation for effects can be erased by ctrl-clicking on the name of the effect in the effects window and selecting clear all automation. If the automation is in the form of Controller 7 & 10 (volume and pan) then you need to go to each track to remove this data. Alternatively you can disable automation playback by clicking the play button in the instruments window.

If I had more info I could probably be of more assistance.
