Input Hardware error?

Postby Adrian Delso » Fri Jul 22, 2005 6:35 am

I powered everything up yesterday, after a long layoff, imported an audio file, pressed "Play" and got the above message. The cursor was moving, the waveform was visible, but no sound.

I then booted up Logic, imported the audio and it played perfectly - same computer, same interface/soundcard.

Any ideas why?

Sounds like you need to visit the digital audio dialog and specify the correct audio device.

Did just that, everything looked as it should, clicked OK and, as expected, it worked beautifully.

I think I now feel safe to put Logic on Ebay!
